2027 Special Project

Learning shouldn’t stop at the classroom door. This year's special project gives all K-12 students in Hopkins schools the opportunity to explore the world beyond the classroom and learn in meaningful, hands-on ways.

Every field trip is a spark—a chance for a student to walk through a museum, stand in a nature preserve, or witness history up close.

For many Hopkins students, the opportunity to explore the world beyond the classroom has been put on pause. In recent years, budget constraints and rising costs have reduced field trips across our district. HEF has seen a surge in grant requests from passionate teachers who want to bring back experiences beyond our school walls.

Field trips do more than supplement lessons—they transform them. They build critical thinkers, broaden perspectives, and show students what's possible for their own futures.

Together, let’s open their world and ignite their wonder.

At the Royal Bash

Our gala fundraiser will feature a seated dinner, presentation, entertainment, games, and more. We will raise funds for our annual special project, Supporting College & Career Pathways (more info), and Spark Grants for Hopkins teachers. The dress code is festive cocktail attire, and the event is for guests 21+.
